What is HHC?

HHC is a minor cannabinoid, it occurs naturally in cannabis. It is created by altering the THC molecule found in marijuana by adding hydrogen through a process called hydrogenation. This helps prolong shelf life and build a more stable, less potent compound.

Although most people are just recently starting to see manufacturers put products on the market containing HHC and other cannabinoids like delta 9 and delta 10. It was first synthesized in 1947 by Roger Adams born in Boston, Massachusetts.

How Does it Make You Feel?

HHC produces similar effects to THC if you consume enough of it. In moderate doses it will produce feelings of euphoria, relaxation, and cognitive impairment. Some claim HHC is approximately 70% the strength of THC.

What Are The Side Effects?

There is not enough evidence present to tell whether or not HHC has any unwanted side effects unfamiliar to THC. If you decide to consume products containing HHC you may experience short term side effects such as anxiety, tiredness, slower reaction times, confusion, and increased heart rate.
